What is the NEET syllabus?

Is NEET based on NCERT?

Yes, the NCERT textbooks for Class 11 and 12 are the base, and Biology in particular follows them closely.

Has the NEET syllabus been reduced?

NTA has revised the syllabus in recent cycles, including removing some topics. Because it changes, check the syllabus published for your own exam year rather than an older list.

Because NTA revises it, and a syllabus page that is one cycle out of date is worse than no page. Topics have been added and removed in recent years. The only list worth trusting is the one NTA publishes for your exam year, on its official site.

Physics

The subject people lose marks to on time, not on knowledge. Numericals under a countdown are a different skill from numericals at a desk.

Chemistry
